As a gesture of ongoing support for the development of Ukraine’s O&P profession, ABC recently donated 22 Windows Surface tablets to assist with the administration of Ukraine’s national O&P certification exams.
The donation was formally presented on May 4th ahead of ABC’s Spring Clinical Patient Management (CPM) exams in Tampa, Florida. Antonina Kumka, MEd, Chief Director of Protez Hub, traveled to attend the event and personally accept the tablets on behalf of her organization. Protez Hub is a Ukrainian initiative that has been leading efforts to advance and professionalize the country’s O&P sector since 2014.
The Surface tablets will be used to support the logistics and delivery of Ukraine’s O&P credentialing exams, playing a key role in efforts to standardize and regulate the profession nationwide. These devices will assist with exam administration, scoring, data management, and other critical tasks, helping ensure a smooth and professional testing process.
ABC’s donation reflects its continued commitment to improving access to high-quality O&P care. By investing in infrastructure and international collaboration, ABC is helping to empower local providers and ensure better outcomes for people who require O&P care.
