North Dakota State Licensure

Individuals Licensed by this State

To provide custom orthotics and prosthetics, individuals must be board certified in orthotics and prosthetics.

While North Dakota does have certification requirements, it does not issue licenses for orthotics and prosthetics.

Additionally, suppliers providing custom orthotics, prosthetics, and diabetic footwear must employ or contract with an individual who holds a national certification through the American Board of Certification (ABC) or the Board of Certification (BOC) to provide these items.
