You must meet the following requirements to be eligible to take the pedorthist exam. Please refer to the Pedorthist Candidate Guide for specific eligibility requirements.

We encourage you to use the Pedorthic Exam Candidate Self-Assessment Checklist as a tool to guide you through your work experience and to make sure that you are getting the type and amount of experience in each area that the profession expects.
*Note: Effective January 1, 2024, all individuals seeking Pedorthist certification must complete a CAAHEP accredited educational program and at least 50% of the required 1,000 hours of supervised pedorthic patient care experience must be obtained after completion of the pedorthic educational program.
