Beginning in March 2027, dual-discipline exams will be available to all candidates who meet the eligibility requirements. Registrations for the Spring dual-discipline exams will open October 1st.

Effective January 1, 2028, only Dual Discipline Exams will be available for new applicants.

*Application Fees: All application fees are non-refundable.

Late Applications: Late applications can be submitted for up to 14 days after the deadline, subject to a $100 late fee.

Annual Renewal Fee (required once certification is awarded): $330 Due December 1st.
The annual renewal fee will be prorated for your first year.

Exam Locations: The exams are offered at 350+ locations nationwide or online with a live remote proctor. Check out the testing locations in your area.

Important Reminder:  Practitioner candidates may apply for the prosthetist orthotist written multiple choice exam immediately after graduation; however, you must complete your residency in the relevant discipline by the residency deadline to be eligible for the simulation and CPM exams.

Exam Location: The CPM exams are held at the ABC Testing Center in Tampa, FL.  All CPM exam dates are tentative and subject to change. ABC reserves the right to limit the number of candidates accepted should space be restricted. Do not make travel arrangements until ABC has notified you of the exact date and time of your exam.​

If the ABC CPM Testing Center must close due to inclement weather conditions, ABC will notify all candidates as soon as the information is available. Notifications will be sent via email to the primary email address on file. Candidates will be automatically deferred to the next available exam window.
