The Orthotic and Prosthetic Foundation for Education and Research (The Foundation) is excited to announce that the 2024 Chester Haddan Scholarship will begin accepting applications on March 4 and will close on April 12^th.

In celebration of ABC’s 75^th Anniversary, and in recognition of Mr. Haddan’s dedication to the O&P profession, The Foundation, with support from ABC, have increased the scholarship award to $2500.  In his role as ABC’s first President, Mr. Haddan helped establish clinical standards and furthered the profession through his commitment to education. Through this scholarship, The Foundation and ABC aim to continue Mr. Haddan’s legacy of leadership and innovation by empowering future generations of O&P practitioners.

The $2500 cash award will be given annually to one O&P master’s program student. Applicants must be enrolled in a full-time CAAHEP-accredited O&P master’s program and embody Chester Haddan’s spirit of leadership and dedication to the profession.
