ABC headed to Las Vegas for the 2026 AOPA National Assembly, September 9–12 at Mandalay Bay. The event brought together OP&P professionals for four days of education, innovation, and networking—and ABC was proud to be part of the excitement.
Throughout the Assembly, attendees brought plenty of energy and enthusiasm to the exhibit hall and education sessions. The ABC team welcomed visitors, answered questions, and shared information about ABC programs, credentials, and resources.
A highlight of ABC’s time at the Assembly was Jim Lawson’s session, Accreditation in a New Era: CMS Updates and Strategies for Year-Round Compliance. The standing-room-only presentation drew more than 100 attendees eager to learn about accreditation requirements, new CMS standards, and practical strategies to maintain compliance year-round. Jim addressed questions about accreditation challenges, explained how ABC is helping facilities navigate the changing requirements, and eased concerns about the new standards and associated costs.
The opening Welcome Reception was another big success. Participants stopped by ABC’s hosted blackjack table for conversation, friendly competition, and a little Las Vegas fun—making sure everyone walked away feeling like a winner!
ABC was also represented during the Opening General Session, where Jim Lawson performed the national anthem—a memorable way to help kick off the Assembly.
Thanks to everyone who visited the ABC booth, attended Jim’s session, and connected with the ABC team. We appreciated the opportunity to answer questions, share resources, and spend time with colleagues from across the profession. We look forward to seeing everyone again next year!
