We followed up with a survey in July to a much larger, diverse and representative subset of all ABC certified individuals. The survey goals were to ascertain the effects felt both at the height of the pandemic and identify the steps being made towards recovery. The July survey focused on identifying impacts on employment, patient volume and practice revenue. The OIG, or Office of Inspector General, has been at the forefront of the Nation's efforts to fight waste, fraud and abuse in Medicare, Medicaid and more than 100 other Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) programs. The OIG requires health care entities to regularly check the List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (LEIE) to ensure that individuals or entities are not listed. And, because the Federal Government requires it, we do too! ... READ MORE⇒ Annual Fees Due December 1 Your 2021 Annual Fee and Data Verification Form is due to ABC on December 1. Invoices are available now in your facility's MY ABC account. Notifications will be sent in early October. Please note that these fees are different and separate from any fees related to an application or survey. If you are not current with your annual fees, your facility’s accreditation status will not be reported to Medicare and cannot be verified to third parties.
