The Board of Directors of the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics, Inc. (ABC) has approved the updated Model Licensure Act and Model Licensure Rules. These two documents can be used as a template by anyone who is considering orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic licensure in their state.
ABC continues to provide the Model Licensure Act and Rules as a resource to the orthotic, prosthetic and pedorthic profession to assist in obtaining a well written and patient protective licensure act.
