When are the revised standards effective? The standards are effective for all facilities as of June 1, 2011.

What is the difference between the current and revised Standards? Why did they change? The main difference is the wording. The Standards have been re-written to ensure that they are easier to understand and therefore easier to implement.
Are there any standards that are new? Yes, there are a handful of new Standards. The new Standards are noted in the revised version. All existing Standards also have a reference to the old Standard number.
