Comprehensive Facility Accreditation

This accreditation is designed for traditional O&P facilities that employ a certified or licensed orthotist and/or prosthetist.

If your O&P practice provides prostheses (except Mastectomy) or orthoses to Medicare beneficiaries, you need to be accredited. Use the links to the right to download the required documents and return them, completed, to us so we can begin your accreditation process.

Choosing the Right Standards

There are several options for standards...If your organization limits its services to orthotics or prosthetics, choose the standards so designated. Choose "Accreditation Standards" if you provide both Prosthetic and Orthotic Services.

Affordability

Affordable accreditation is key for O&P business owners, and ABC's program is thus designed to be cost effective as a benefit to the profession. This allows ABC to keep application and renewal fees low, especially when compared with larger, more bureaucratic accrediting organizations.

ABC accredited facilities are eligible for substantial discounts and credits on liability insurance from Cailor-Fleming insurance group.

Logo

Accredited Facilities have earned the right to display the ABC Accredited Facility Logo.
